The fact that she was present on this mission states that she was impressive officer as Paris has a reputation for choosing only the best.
Now in command of the U.S.S. Voyager, it is Captain Janeway's mission to track down the Maquis. In order to accomplish this she will take cashiered Starfleet Officer Tom Paris, the son of her former captain, as an observer. Inevitably becoming an outlaw, he waged a terrorist campaign against the Cardassians , until his starship was spirited to the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker.

Captain Janeway sprang him from the penitentiary, needing his expertise and his knowledge of the Maquis but, under her fair command and her enforced circumstances, the good in the man and his brilliance as a pilot have resurfaced. His fondness for the ladies gets him into trouble but he has instinctively put his life on the line to help others.

Kes (Supplemental)
Race: Ocampan
Position: Medical Assistant
Age: 6
The acceleration of Kes' powers in her last weeks aboard Voyager were exceptional by any standards. The heightening of her senses is believed to stem from the presence of Species 8472 in our dimension, which caused Kes to experience terrifying visions during Voyager's conflict with the creatures. Following the struggles, Kes' telekinetic abilities increased to the point where she could complete complex tasks purely with the power of her mind, including an intricate brain operation on Borg drone Seven of Nine. When it became apparent that the side effects of Kes' powers were dangerous to Voyager's hull, Tuvok attempted to train her via a series of Vulcan mind exercises. Kes quickly surpassed both the Vulcan courses and the boundaries of accepted science. When forced to leave Voyager, rather than further endanger the ship, Kes leaves a parting "gift".

Neelix's recipes are tamed with the caution of Tuvok, particularly pleasing the Captain. He has resumed the tactical officer's position on the bridge. On a personal level, he is particularly considerate of Kes' suffering in losing both her mentor and her lover in the accident. He has retained the best of both characters but his doubled will to survive is resistant to the doctor's attempts to reverse the transporter mistake.

Despite the fact that he never behaved out of the ordinary, Suder was not well-liked by his associates. They remember that when it came to killing Cardassians, he did it a little too well. Equally confident about his mental discipline, he is punctual, practices meditation and has an accurate memory. He excels in his chosen career in engineering, suggesting alternative tools and methods to tackle maintenance problems. Vorik holds B'Elanna Torres, the Chief Engineer, in high esteem both professionally for her technical skills and personally, admiring her bravery and her strong sense of moral duty.
Jetal
Race: Human
Rank: Ensign
Assignment: U.S.S. Voyager
A junior officer aboard the U.S.S. Voyager, Ensign Jetal was a capable, attractive and popular member of the starship's crew. Such was her popularity, indeed, that for her last birthday, many of her friends, including the senior officers, took the time to organise and throw a surprise party in the Mess Hall, complete with birthday cake and candles! Jetal was primarily a shuttle pilot, and her last tour of duty involved modifying on of Voyager's shuttles to make it more maneuverable and more "cool", as Tom Paris would say. On her last shuttle flight, Jetal was attacked by a hostile alien, who shot both her and Harry Kim with a weapon designed to induce death by leaving a residual charge in the victim, planting an energy pulse that remained in the neural membranes, working its way up the spinal cord and into the brain. As a result of the attack, Jetal suffered massive synaptic failure leading to death.

The daughter of one of Voyager's science officers, Naomi Wildman is one of the youngest of Voyager's explorers. Although Ship's morale officer, Neelix, describes Naomi as a very sensitive child, she is not shy about putting forth her opinions, including the view that she should begin to "pull her weight" around the ship, by taking up a crew position as Captain's assistant on the Bridge. Although generally intelligent, Naomi has strange attitudes towards some of the crew's more unusual members. She is terrified of the Borg Drone Seven of Nine, and is convinced that Seven of Nine will assimilate her and place her in the Collective. Similarly, Naomi doesn't like the sickbay, as it is full of "creepy things", and in her opinion the Doctor talks too much! Naomi's favourite pastime is playing with Flotter and her other forest friends in the holodeck.
