Arturis' ability allows him to interpret electronic communication with similar ease, and it is this skill on board the U.S.S. As a high-ranking officer, Kashyk is well-versed in the arguments leading to the vilification of telepaths. As he explains to Captain Janeway, his perception of sentient interaction is based on a notion of trust, an attribute which must be earned by hard work: it is anathema to Kashyk that those with telepathic powers can bypass the notion of trust and therefore the entire fabric of society by merely looking into another's mind to see if the other is indeed lying or not. Although Kashyk appears to be passionate about eliminating the telepath "threat", he has been know to be flexible on other matter, including being lenient with alien Starships that deviate from their prescribed course: a heinous crime under Devore Law.

Physically, he matured 25 times faster than a conventional drone, becoming a full drone in a matter of days. During that same amount of time he managed not only to assimilate over 47 billion teraquads of information, but also to learn the nuances of human interaction, allowing him to fit in with Voyager's crew as well as earn the approval of the ship's captain
Q
The maiden voyage of the U.S.S. Enterprise, NCC-1701-D, was severely disrupted by the appearance of the being, Q. It was Q's assertion that mankind was a grievously savage race and he placed Captain Picard on trial to prove otherwise. Being immortal and omnipotent, Q displayed a hideously cavalier attitude towards the fragile life of mortals, caring little if his actions caused crew members to lose their lives. Over the course of seven years, Q continued to menace the Enterprise 's crew but somehow, his threats and his blustering became more theatrical and less menacing as time went by. In fact, when the Q passed judgement that mankind should be irradiated from the Universe, it was Q who surreptitiously helped Picard to solve the mystery and avert mankind's annihilation...
Q

He believes that, in becoming immortal, the Q have lost more than they have gained. Now socially inept, perceived by humanoids as having no manners, they also have no sense of purpose. True Appearance: Unknown
Abilities: Identity Theft
A shape-shifting alien of unknown origin, Steth lives for the excitement brought by a constant change of environment. To achieve this, he assumes the identities of various humanoids whom he encounters on his travels. However, unlike other shape-shifters who are able to assume any form at will, Steth must "swap" his identity and appearance with those whose form he is taking, meaning that the violated person assumes Steth's last form. This means that not only is the victim trapped in a different body, but ensures that, once steth has swapped again, the owner of the original body will find it extremely difficult to ever be returned to his natural state. The only know limitation on Steth's ability is that he can only swap identities with those lifeforms whose DNA is compatible with his own, and so for each of his victims, he must take time to collect a DNA sample from that species before making the swap.

Ven

Intelligence: Superior
Origin: Grid 124 Octal 22 Theta

Although Species 6339 encountered the Borg only four years before Voyager picked up the stray Vinculum (stardate 52356.2), in that short period of time over 11 billion individuals were assimilated. Skilled with bio-technology, the surviving members of species 6339 engineered a biological virus which was also capable of attacking standard technology. Thirteen of their species on board one of the last surviving Species 6339 shuttlecraft were implanted with the virus, and allowed themselves to be assimilated, thus transferring the virus tot he Vinculum of the ship which captured them. The resulting confusion onboard was enough for the Borg drones to destroy themselves and their ship, leaving the stranded vinculum ready to be rescued by another Borg ship, spreading the virus further abroad.
