Garrett Wang plays the Ops/Communications Officer Harry Kim on Star Trek Voyager. A fresh out of the Starfleet graduate embraces the challenges of space exploration of the uncharted, unknown space of the Delta Quadrant. Born in Riverside, California, to a chinese immigrant parents, living in Indiana, Bermuda and Tennessee. He moved to Los Angeles and attended UCLA where majored in Asian Studies and dabbled in theatre. His first performance outside of college was his critically acclaimed portrayal of John Lee in the lead of, "Chay Yew's Porcelain at Burbage Theater. He has also performed in various staged readings such as, "Model Minority" for the Los Angeles Theater Center, "Woman Warrior for the Mark Taper Forum and "A Language of Their Own" for the Intiman Theater Before joining the crew of Star Trek Voyager, Garrett guest starred inthe premiere episode of the ABC series, "All American Girl".
