Bridge

The Captain's Ready Room is roughly the same size as the Briefing Room on the leeward side of the bridge. The Ready Room is located on the right side of the Bridge, the door nearest the captain's chair on the Bridge and is located on Deck One. There is no hallway between the main bridge and the Ready Room.

The door leading from the main Bridge to the Ready Room is starboard of the captain's chair. The captain's desk is curved that has two adjacent chairs for visitors. To the immediate right of the captain's desk is another door, leading to an outside corridor allowing the captain to reach or leave her ready room without passing through the Bridge. To the left are two steps, leading to a seating which is dominated by a large window.

Janeway's desk has LCARS terminal, enabling access to the ships main computer. One or more padds, providing access to all relevant data are usually scattered around. Her Ready Room contains priceless and personal objects, and is decorated with small Earth type trees and plants. To the right of the desk, along a wall, on a single shelf are displays of several antiques that reflect her love of the sciences. In the seating area, separated from the lower level by a long, clear banister that curves slightly away from the desk area, is a beautiful red glass-like sculpture. Placed in a corner is another sculpture of a bronze Indian warrior, with his axe and shield raised, riding a wild mustang. The most personal object in the room is a small photograph of Mark Hobbes Johnson and their Irish settler, Molly.
