stardate 50063.2. Kes is knocked into a coma after encountering a bio-electric field while investigating a Nechani Temple. Janeway was not willing for Kes to be in that state and puts her own life at risk to save her life. To do this, she must undertake a Nechani ritual of purification which Captain Janeway and Kes will have to pass the bio-electric field to restore Kes from the coma.

stardate: unknown. Voyager encounters a temporal rift, and is suddenly under attack from the Federation time ship, Aeon. The captain of the Aeon ship tells the crew, he is here to destroy them in order to save the 29th Century Earth from destruction. In their conflict, both ships are then thrown back in time, back to the 20th Century.
