When a Nezu planet is bombarded by asteroids and its inhabitants are facing evacuation, Voyager intervenes by sending Tuvok and Neelix to join several prominent members of the Nezu on a rescue mission. Soon it is learned that there's a traitor in their midst, and Tuvok's condescending attitude pushes Neelix to the breaking point.

stardate 50732.4. Kim is infected with a Taresian genetically engineered retrovirus which gives him memories and visions that compels him to go to Taresia. He believes he is a native of this planet and it is his homeworld. He finds out soon enough that the Taresians only wanted to harvest his genetic material to be used in their procreation process.
