stardate 50384.2. Janeway is unexpectedly visited by Q, announcing his desire for Janeway to be his mate. As this is happening, the crew witnesses a star gone supernova several times when it only happens once a long while. Janeway soon finds out that Q's reason for wanting to mate with her was a means to save the Q continuum from destruction.

stardate 50425.1. Janeway and Neelix boards their ship after a meeting with an alien race, but only to find that a macro virus alien had seized the ship. After attacking the crew, the deadly alien life-form disabled the ship as they hunt for more beings. Janeway now has to fight the aliens off her ship single-handedly with the help of the doctor to come up with a cure for their crew.
