stardate 47582. Voyager spots a Cardassian, self-guided missile carrying a warhead capable of significant destructive force travelling toward Rakosan, a heavily populated planet. As Torres was the one who programmed the missile during her time as a Maquis, she volunteers to reprogram it again, but not before the onboard computer tries to destroy her first.

stardate 49301.2. A rebel, and suicidal Q escapes imprisonment from inside a comet and demands asylum aboard the U.S.S. Voyager. Just as quickly, the well known Q arrives to force the escaped Q back to the continuum. Noting the dictates of Starfleet protocol, Janeway decides to hold a hearing to consider the request for asylum.
