Kazon intruders board the U.S.S. Voyager and steal a Transporter control module, enabling them to persuade rival sects to join together to conquer Voyager. Seska is the mastermind behind the Kazon's scheme. When Chakotay learns that Seska devised the Kazon plot, he secretly sets out alone to battle her. But he is unsuccessful as he gets captured by the Kazons.
