stardate 49068.5. When Kes spends free time with a smitten Paris, Neelix is overcome with jealousy, instigating a messy fight between the men. Attempting to repair relations, Janeway sends them to a planet to replenish food supplies. They crash land and find themselves needing to protect an alien newborn and each other when the angry mother of the alien baby returns.

stardate: unknown. Janeway is ordered to relax in her holonovel but an unexpected twist appears in the story. Returning to the Bridge she finds that, in turn, each of her crew is entering a catatonic state, having seen and apparently talked to someone who means a lot to them. Whilst everyone succumbs to these visions, Kes, the only one aboard strong enough to resist them , is left to save her crew.
